Chimbudevan's Pulikesi 2 on hold

Post the success of Imsai Arasan 23m Pulikesi, comedian Vadivelu and director Chimbudevan were to team up again for the sequel, Pulikesi 2, this year. However, we are now told that the project is on hold. A source close to the director says, ���Chimbudevan and Vadivelu discussed the project at length, and were about to take off with the sequel when suddenly there was a change in the plan.The director has put the sequel on hold and will now take up a new project. Only after he completes this film, will he take up Pulikesi 2.���
For his next project, the director will work with actor Arulnidhi of Mounaguru fame. ���This rural- based film will be Chimbudevan���s next, and will have Arulnidhi in the lead. The shoot will commence from July,��� adds the source.
Meanwhile, Arulnidhi too confirmed the news on his social networking site, saying, ���Next film with director Chimbudevan.���
