Director Chimbu Deven’s upcoming film
Boat, featuring Yogi Babu in the lead role, has been completely shot in the sea.
Talking about the project, the director says, “I admire Ernest Hemingway’s The Old Man And The Sea, and had always wanted to do something like that. During the COVID-19 lockdown, I wrote this script along with my friends Sri Ganesh and Jayaraj. From comedy to thrilling moments, the film will have all sorts of emotions. ”
Chimbu Deven adds, “Yogi Babu loved the storyline as he is someone who likes to be amidst water. He is a good swimmer, and it was easy for him to relate to the story elements. ” Ghibran is composing the music for this film, which has been shot by Madhesh Manickam.
