Cheran's 'Thirumanam' gets an 'U' certificate

Four-time National Award-winning filmmaker Cheran’s upcoming film 'Thirumanam' which is set to release soon has been cleared by the Censor Board with a clean 'U' certificate. Produced by Premnath Chidambaram for Preniss International, the film deals with the concept of marriage from the director Cheran's perspective.
The movie features National Award-winning actor Thambi Ramaiah's son Umapathy Ramaiah in the lead role.The upcoming family entertainer also includes Kavya Suresh as the female lead alongside Cheran, Suganya, MS Baskar, Jayaprakash, Manobala, Bala Saravanan among others. Siddharth Vipin has composed music for the film and lyrics for the songs were penned by Yuga Bharathi and Lalithanath.
Cheran has always been appreciated for his uniqueness and emotionally-inclined films and this film will be no different from the others. His last directorial was ‘JK Enum Nanbanin Vaazhkai’ which starred Sharwanand and Nithya Menon in the leads.
