Cheran doesn't mince words

The audio launch of Padam Paarthu Kathai Sollu proved to be a dais for a different debate.
Cheran, who has been a pioneer as far as small budget filmmakers are concerned, had a run in with veteran filmmaker S A Chandrashekar. Cheran, who's always known to be controversial when he's asked to talk, told SAC that he should look into ensuring that big budget films (like his son's) don't monopolize cinema halls.He didn't spare the young team of the new film either.
A source tells us, 'Cheran was direct in telling the team how they should look at packaging their films well. He also told them how all the songs look similar and it would require better strategizing from their part.' Looks like he was in no mood to spare anyone, eh?
