Chennai 600028 II Innings teaser

The teaser of the sequel to 2007 Tamil coming-of-age sports drama 'Chennai 600028' has been released. Director Venkat Prabhu, has reunited with the cast of the film's first part, which had Jai, Shiva, Premji, Aravind Akash and Nithin Sathya. The music for the sequel is composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
Released in 2007, the film explored themes such as love, friendship and rivalry against the backdrop of a gully cricket.The sequel will be produced by Venkat Prabhu's Black Ticket Company, and will feature an ensemble cast of Jai, Shiva, Premgi Amaren, Aravind Akash, Nithin Satya, Varalakshmi and Vaibhav.
