Mani Ratnam’s much-awaited trailer of
‘Chekka Chivantha Vaanam’
was unveiled on Saturday.
Much to everyone’s expectations, the action-packed trailer has gotten fantastic response from the audience.
Within 24 hours of its release, the trailer reportedly earned more than 4 million views on YouTube. In fact, ‘CCV’ trailer is still trending on YouTube and other social media platforms.
Going by the trailer, ‘Chekka Chivantha Vaanam’ seems to revolve around Senapathy (
Prakash Raj), a mafia leader and his three sons -- Varadan (
Arvind Swami), Thyagu (Arun Vijay) and Ethi (Simbu). Ever since the release of the trailer, ‘Chekka Chivantha Vaanam’ was compared to ‘The Godfather’ and several memes found its way on the internet. To go by the trailer’s response, ‘Chekka Chivantha Vaanam’ is very likely to strike a chord with the masses.
