Despite political controversies, superstar Rajinikanth’s highly anticipated ‘Kaala’ is scheduled for a huge release on June 7. Earlier this week, the makers released the theatrical trailer of the film, which received a terrific response from fans. Within days after its release, ‘Kaala’ trailer has clocked in more than 6 million views on YouTube.
Now, a fresh poster of ‘Kaala’ featuring an intense Rajinikanth is doing the rounds on the internet.It must be noted that ‘Kaala’ completed censor formalities last month and has been awarded a ‘U/A’ certificate by the CBFC. Reports suggest that ‘Kaala’ will have its biggest release in the US and the makers have also planned for premiere shows. Directed by Pa Ranjith, ‘Kaala’ will see Rajinikanth playing the role of a gangster, while actor Nana Patekar will reportedly play the main antagonist.
Set in Dharavi, ‘Kaala’ is tipped to be a gangster drama, which will see Rajinikanth fighting for the rights of Tamils in the film. Produced by Wunderbar Films, ‘Kaala’ stars Huma Qureshi, Nana Patekar, Eswari Rao, Samuthirakani and Anjali Patil in important roles. Santhosh Narayanan has scored for the film.
