Check out Simbu’s latest click from ‘Chekka Chivantha Vaanam’ sets

Silambarasan aka Simbu is gearing up for the release of his much-awaited ‘Chekka Chivantha Vaanam’, by the end of this year. Now, a picture of Simbu looking his stylish best has hit the web and has gone viral among fans. The photo was clicked by none other than Santosh Sivan and was shared on his Twitter handle.



A multi-starrer venture, ‘Chekka Chivantha Vaanam’, directed by ace filmmaker Mani Ratnam, stars Simbu, Vijay Sethupathi, Arun Vijay and Arvind Swami in lead roles. Jointly produced by Madras Talkies and Lyca Productions, the film is currently in its post-production stage.

Also starring Jyothika, Aishwarya Rajesh, Aditi Rao Hydari, Prakash Raj, Thiyagarajan and Jayasudha in prominent roles, the film has music by AR Rahman. Cinematographer Santosh Sivan is reuniting with Ratnam after ‘Raavanan’ in 2010, while Sreekar Prasad is in charge of the edits.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Simbu will be teaming up with Venkat Prabhu for an action-entertainer, which is expected to take off sometime later this year. The ‘Manmadhan’ actor reportedly has about four films under his belt.
