Chandramouli and Meenakshi play the leads in Rambhala’s horror comedy

Filmmaker Rambhala has begun work on his next,

Vandhan Suttan Repeatu

, a horror thriller, which will star

Chandramouli

and

Meenakshi

Govindharajan in the lead. The team has already begun shooting in Chennai with its lead cast.

Rambhala says, “It is a reincarnation story with elements of horror and thriller. It will be on the lines of Om Shanti Om and Magadheera. I always cast actors based on the script and I felt Mouli and Meenakshi would be apt for their respective roles. Mouli’s character had a certain personality in his previous birth, which is the complete opposite of the present one. But there is a twist to his character. With Meenakshi, too, there are different shades. There will be one person opposing their relationship. And the negative character here is the suspense.”

Urvashi and Livingston play Mouli’s parents in the film, and Mayilsamy plays Meenakshi’s grandfather. “There is also a parallel comedy track with Munishkanth and his gang,” he informs.
