Nerkonda Paarvai is the remake of the Hindi film Pink, which had Amitabh Bachchan, Taapsee Pannu, Kriti Kulhari and Andrea Tariang to name a few.The film was directed by Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury. The Tamil remake is directed by H Vinoth with Ajith, Shraddha Srinath, Abirami and Andrea from the original. The film also marks the debut of Vidya Balan in Tamil.
