Bala was in the news for all the wrong reasons recently when he was dropped from
Varmaa
, remake of the Telugu hit, Arjun Reddy. Arjun Reddy had Vijay Deverakonda and Shalini Pandey in the lead. The director said that he had stepped down after he was asked to make changes in the film that starred Dhruv Vikram. He added that he wanted to safeguard creative freedom and hence, stepped down from the project on his own.
