'Billa 2' and 'Saguni' clash at the box office

Ajith's 51st movie Billa 2 and the Karthi Sivakumar-starrer Saguni are all set to hit the box office on June 22.
Interestingly, both movies will have simultaneous releases in Telugu too. While the former will be released as David Billa: The Beginning, the latter will be Shakuni in Telugu. Directed by Chakri Toleti and produced by In Entertainment associated with Wide Angle Creations, Billa 2 is a prequel to Ajith's earlier hit Billa, which is a remake of a Rajinikanth starrer with the same title.
Saguni is helmed by first time filmmaker Shankar Dayal. It has Pranitha of Udhayan fame as the main lead opposite Karthi, with Santhanam playing a crucial role. Anushka Shetty will be making an unexpected cameo. Music is helmed by G V Prakash Kumar.
