Bhavana weds long-time boyfriend Kannada film producer Naveen

In a simple and elegant function, actress Bhavana tied the knot with her long-time boyfriend Naveen, a producer in the Kannada film industry. The wedding ceremony was held at Thiruvambadi Sri Krishna Temple in the actress’ home town, Thrissur, around 9.45 am, on Monday.

The pretty bride wore a designer golden Kanjeevaram sari emblazoned with brocade motif of Krishna and Radha.Renju Renjimar, a Mollywood makeup artiste, revealed that the actress had specifically asked for an elegant look. “I had Deepika Padukone’s Padmaavat look in my mind while doing makeup for her. She wore two classy antique jewellery pieces to go with her dress. While on the sari she had Radha and Krishna, her chain had Ganapathy on it,” she said.

Besides her close relatives and friends, her colleagues from the film industry, including Manju Warrier, Siddique, Navya Nair, Poorna, Bhama and Miya attended. Actresses Remya Nambeesan, Mridula Murali, singer Sayanora Philip were among the bridesmaids. All of them were dressed in chocolate-brown sari with golden border for the function.
For the reception in the evening at a prominent convention centre in Thrissur, Bhavana sported a pink designer wear, said to be inspired by Anushka Sharma’s wedding attire.
