The horror film,
Pottu
, which has been in the making for a long time now, is finally set to release on March 8. The film has Bharath,
Iniya, Srushti Dange, Rajendran and Namitha in the lead. Directed by Vadivudaiyan, the project was announced in 2015.
Bharath was roped in for the film first, with three actresses - Iniya, Namitha and
Srushti Dange - joining the team.
The film began its shoot in January 2016, in Chennai and Kollumalai, where a huge set was erected. The team completed post production work by early 2017. The even released the trailer. However, there was a delay in the release as the film couldn't get a release date.
Bharath plays an interesting role, while Srushti plays his love interest and a medical student. Namitha is said to be playing a negative role, while Iniya, too, has a pivotal role in the film. Earlier, Manisha Yadav was said to play Surshti's role. But the makers replaced her with Srushti.
