Bharathiraja made his debut as a director with 1977 film '16 Vayathinile' and went on to work in several Tamil, Telugu and Hindi films. Bharathiraja had always dreamt to directing 'Kutra Parambarai' but the film was put on back burner. However according to latest reports, Bharathiraja's dream project 'Kutra Parambarai' is on the cards and the film will be produced by Simbu's 'Maanaadu' producer, Suresh Kamatchi, under the banner V House Productions.
'Kutra Parambarai' is a periodic Tamil drama set in the 19th century.
It will deal extensively with the tribal community of Kutra Parambarai. Initially the director was supposed to make this film with Arya, Atharvaa, Arvind Swamy and Vishal but it remains to be seen who will be cast now.
