Bharathiraja lands a pivotal role in ‘Seethakaathi’

Vijay Sethupathi is teaming up with his ‘Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom’ director Balaji Tharaneetharan for the upcoming drama ‘Seethakaathi’, which is currently underway. According to latest reports, it looks like the veteran director Bharathiraja has landed a role in the film.
At the teaser launch of his upcoming film ‘Om’, Bharathiraja revealed that he will be seen playing a pivotal in the Vijay Sethupathi-starrer.Interestingly, the film also stars another veteran director J Mahendran in an important role.
Produced by Passion Studios, the film has ‘Veedu’ fame Archana playing Vijay Sethupathi’s wife, while actresses Parvatii Nair, Remya Nambeesan and Gayathrie will be seen in cameos.
Music composer Govind Menon in charge of the music department. The makers still haven’t locked the release date of ‘Seethakaathi’ yet. Recently, a making video showed how Vijay Sethupathi transformed himself to portray the character Ayya in the film. Reportedly, Vijay Sethupathi is said to play dual roles in ‘Seethakaathi’, which is expected to release sometime later this year.
