Bharath kicked about his first non-cop role

For Bharath Reddy, playing lead roles in films is not even on the agenda. ���I don���t think it���s my cup of tea. I only want to do anti-hero roles, or characters with substance on screens,��� says the actor, who has learnt kick-boxing and Karate.
He recently wrapped up his portions in Udhayanidhi���s Idhu Kathirvelan Kadhal. ���I���m paired opposite Chaya Singh in the film.This is the first time in Kollywood that I���m playing a role that���s emotional and is non-cop, unlike in Unnaipol Oruvan,��� he smiles, ���I���ve been a stage artist, and started doing one-minute roles in south films. Thanks to Kamal sir, people started noticing me. In Tollywood also, I���m happy to be part of films like Okka V Chithram and Pawan Kalyan���s latest blockbuster.���
Bharath, also a practising heart surgeon, says he���s been lucky to be able to make time for both his professions. ���Before visiting Chennai to start promotions for my latest release with Karunaas, I performed three angioplasty,��� he states.
Meanwhile, Bharat is set to shoot for his Kannada film with Om Prakash. ���Apart from Mahesh Babu���s film in Tollywood, I also have Kannan���s next (in which I play a negative role) and debutant Saravanan���s film, which is a game thriller, in Tamil. I���ve also auditioned for Karan Johar���s next film,��� he says.
