Bharatbala to revive 'The 19th Step'

Before starting work on Maryan, Bharatbala was all set to direct The 19th Step. The film, based on a script written by MT Vasudevan Nair, initially had Kamal Haasan, Asin and Japanese actor Tadanobu Asano in the lead. But, due to reasons unknown, the film was put on hold and the director announced his film with Dhanush. And now, we hear that Bharatbala is planning to revive the project that had once generated a lot of interest.
���Yes, I���m in the process of reviving The 19th Step,��� confirms the director, adding, ���It will be with a fresh cast and will have a fresh look. I���ve started re-looking at the script and will work on finalizing it. In the coming months, I will be in a position to announce the cast and other details.���
