Director Balaji Sakthivel, who���������s currently wrapping up the shoot for his Vazhakku Enn 18/9, we hear, used hidden cameras to research for the film.
���������Since the film is set in the city and deals with both the upper and lower classes of the public, the behaviour of people from all walks of life were important to me for scripting. My assistants went out to bustling places with pen cameras to observe and shoot people.

The director had earlier, for his previous film, Kalloori, sent his assistants to rural government colleges to observe the zeitgeist of the college crowd.
