Balaji Sakthivel is back with Yaar Ivargal

After Vazhakku Enn 18/9, director Balaji Sakthivel is back with Yaar Ivargal. Like his last few films, this one, too, features a bunch of debutants and relative newcomers, in the cast. While Ajay and Kishore play the male leads, Subhiksha (of Kadugu fame) and Abirami play the female leads. The only known face in the cast is actress Vinodhini, who will be seen as a lawyer.
The director calls it an action film with a realistic touch.“The film begins with a man going to murder someone and finding out that his victim is already dead. The film unfolds as the story of the youngsters who had wanted to kill the person and provides the answers to the question — yaar ivargal,” he reveals.
