Bala plays Jiiva's friend in Kavalai Vendam���Bala Saravanan is enjoying his comedy streak in Kollywood, who will be seen playing Jiiva's child hood friend in his next, Kavalai Vendam. The film has an ensemble cast including Bobby Simhaa, Kajal Aggarwal, Sunaina and Karunakaran. Bala shares screen space with Jiiva and Balaji.

���Kavalai Vendam is a new-age romantic comedy and has a lot of humour.Balaji and I play Jiiva's childhood friends. Balaji is a very close friend of mine and we are enjoying our time on the sets. I am getting to do only comic roles and I'm having fun,��� says Bala, who is also doing a film with Sethu of Kanna Laddu Thinna Aasaiya fame. The film, which is titled Aaluku Padhi, sees Bala playing a role of a thief.
