Bad Boy turns good

It looks like Karthi, who was portrayed as a ���Bad Boy��� in Alex Pandian is planning to go for a role makeover with his upcoming flick. We hear that he will be playing a ���samathu boy��� in All in All Azhagu Raja, directed by Rajesh.

The director says, ���He will essay the role of a very good boy in the film.The character (Azhagu Raja) will be liked by everybody. He will be an obedient son to his parents, a truthful boyfriend and a helpful friend. He doesn���t even utter any harsh words!���
Is this a conscious attempt to portray Karthi in a positive role? He says, ���In his past few films, Karthi has been playing roles with negative shades. Audience will get to see a refreshingly new Karthi as Azhagu Raja. It���s not a city script but will showcase the life of a good guy in rural areas of TN. We will be shooting in places like Karaikudi and Kumbakonam. The shoot will commence from February.���
Meanwhile, the director is also busy penning dialogues for his associate director���s debut film with Sivakarthikeyan, which has recently kickstarted in Theni.
