starring Dhanush. The film based on a real incident will be releasing on April 9. The reception for Karnan's teaser and the song has made the director quite happy, and he is on cloud nine.

Following the reception for Karnan’s first single Kanda Vara Sollunga, music director Santosh Narayanan took to Twitter and thanked everyone. Sharing a photo with director Mari Selvaraj, Santosh Narayanan wrote that it was a victory for so many folk artists. He wrote, “I bow down to all of you who loved and supported #KandaaVaraSollunga. This is a major victory for so many folk artists who have to be celebrated. Thank you all so much. Here is a click from my first discussion with @mari_selvaraj about Kandaa Vara Sollunga. #Karnan”."

On the family front, too, he is a happy man. Recently, photos from the baby shower function of his wife, Divya,was shared on social media. He is expecting his second child and the family members are all excitedly waiting for the new arrival.
This is Mari Selvaraj's second child, and the couple has a daughter. Divya shared a photo of her on Instagram, and wrote,

Mari Selvaraj who came to films with the desire to become an actor later became an assistant director to Ram and worked with him on Kattradhu Thamizh, Thanga Meenkal, and Taramani. He made his debut as a director with Pariyerum Perumal, starring Kathir and Anandhi in the lead and the movie was produced by Pa Ranjith. The director has another movie in the pipeline with Dhruv Vikram in the lead, and it is also being bankrolled by Pa Ranjith.
