Atharvaa's next titled Rukmani Vandi Varuthu

We had earlier reported that Atharvaa will be seen in a rural character in his upcoming film directed by Rajamohan. This village-based film has now been titled as Rukmani Vandi Varuthu. Interestingly, the song Orampo Rukmani Vandi Varudhu was more popular than Ponnukku Ooru Pudhusu ' the film it was from.
About the title, director Rajamohan says, 'The film is set in a small village in a hilly area.The villagers wish to bring an old Jeep to their place. The hero's character will be instrumental in bringing that vehicle to that village. The story revolves around an old Jeep, and so, we chose the title Rukmani Vandi Varuthu, which is the first song that comes to mind when one thinks of a vehicle's arrival.'
Pooja Jhaveri has been confirmed for the film as the female lead and the shoot will commence from this week in Kodaikanal.
