Atharvaa tests positive for COVID-19

The latest celebrity to test positive for the virus in the second wave of

COVID-19

is Atharvaa Murali. The actor, who returned from Hyderabad after completing the talkie portions of his film with Sam Anton on April 16, has confirmed the same on his social media handle.

Atharvaa tweeted, “After having some mild symptoms, I have tested positive for Covid-19. I’m currently quarantined at home taking all the necessary precautions. Hope to make a full recovery and be back in action soon.”

. Recently, he completed the scenes and action sequences of his second film with Sam Anton, a vigilante cop thriller. The team has been shooting in Hyderabad for the past few weeks and has completed the entire talkie portion, and will be shooting the songs alone in Chennai. The single-shot action sequence filmed in an under-construction building in Hyderabad is sad to be one of the highlight of the film, which also co-stars Arun Pandian.
