Atharvaa, who is currently shooting Sandi Veeran, a film set in rural Tamil Nadu, has given his nod to yet another set-in-the-interiors film. The film will be directed by Rajamohan of Kumguma Poovum Konju Puravum fame, and is about a small village nestled in a valley. The shoot will commence from the second week of this month. Rajamohan says, We will begin shooting from July 15.
As the script demands breathtaking mountain views, we will be shooting in Theni, Kodaikanal and Maraiyur. It is about a small village that has been fighting for their basic needs since 1957. The story will unravel from 1957, but will follow a current timeline. So, it is not a period film, and the story is partially true, with a lot of imagination added to it. He adds, Atharvaa plays a young, fun-loving guy living in that village. Thambi Ramaiah and SPB Charan play crucial roles, the female lead is yet to be decided.
