When started out, Atharvaa was often compared to his dad, late actor
Murali and he says that it was 'Paradesi', directed by ace director Bala that established him as a versatile actor. Murali was a popular actor and some of his films like Idhayam are still fresh in audience memory. However, Atharvaa doesn’t want to remake them as he says that his dad’s films catered to an audience that loved such films. According to the young actor, trying for a remake of the same for the sake of it will only take away the essence of the movie.
