Ashok Selvan and Niharika's film kickstarts with a simple pooja

Ashok Selvan is one of the promising actors, and is very selective in choosing his films. The actor was last seen in the romantic drama 'Oh My Kadavule', and the film received an amazing response. Ashok Selvan currently has four films in the pipeline including his Malayalam debut 'Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham' starring Mohan Lal in the lead role. Now, the latest buzz is that Ashok Selvan and Niharika's untitled film with director Swathini has begun with a simple pooja.

Earlier, there were reports that Ashok Selvan would be teaming up with debutant director Swathini, a former assistant of Suseenthiran. Now, it's official, and the film has already kick-started with a simple pooja. The film is set to start rolling after the lockdown, and the young team has joined hands for it. Director Swathini is super happy about making a debut as a director and conveyed a special thanks to Suresh Chandraa for making this project happen. Niharika Konidela of 'Oru Nalla Naal Paathu Solren' fame will be playing the female lead and the film is produced by Kenaya Films.
The film is also touted to be a romantic comedy, and Leon James will be scoring the music for it. AR Soorya will be handling the cinematography while editing will be taken care of by Richard Kevin.
