Ashima Narwal is Arav’s heroine

Her Kollywood debut, Kolaikaran with Vijay Antony, is yet to hit screens, but Ashima Narwal has already signed her next here. The actress, who is quite busy juggling a career in Tollywood as well, will be paired opposite Arav in Raja Bheema.
“The makers of the film saw my profile and got in touch with me through email. I then met the director (Naresh Sampath) for a brief chat. He gave me the outline of the story and briefed me about my character.I really liked my characterisation and was only too excited to be part of the film,” begins Ashima, and goes on to add, “For me, the story decides if I do a film or not. In this case, I loved the story, and even when Naresh gave me the narration, I could sense that there was depth to the script, and it will not be one of those fluffy movies.”
So, has she met Arav yet? “Actually, not really. After I was told that Arav was the hero, I did some research on him. He’s become everybody’s favourite after Bigg Boss,” she says with a smile. Interestingly, the film features an elephant in a prominent role. “It’s going to be a new experience for me, working closely with an elephant. I’m looking forward to the shoot,” she signs off.
