The film is extra special for the actor and producer as it marks his final film. Udayanidhi Stalin has taken a oath as a minister and he has agreed to stay away from the entertainment industry. Udayanidhi Stalin made his debut in the film industry as an actor with the film 'Oru Kal Oru Kannadi'. Directed by M Rajesh the movie starred Udayanidhi, Hansika and Santhanam in the lead role. The actor's first film was a huge commercial success and it gave him a stronghold as an actor in the movie industry. He started acting in 2012 and in over 12 years of his acting career, he has done 15 films which were all a commercial hit.

Apart from being an actor, Udayanidhi is also a producer and a distributor and runs a huge production house. He has come in support of many small films and big films that has been a massive hit project. The actor even once openly revealed that he took suggestions from the actors while producing movies and agreed that back then he lacked a lot of social and political understanding and that he learnt a lot through the years.
