We had earlier reported that director
Nalan Kumarasamy will be team up with
actor Arya
for a film. While Arya, who was last seen in Pa Ranjith's 'Sarpatta Parambarai', is currently awaiting the release of the long awaited 'Aranmanai 3', the latest buzz is that he will begin shooting for Nalan Kumarasamy's film in November, 2021.
Touted to be a rom-com the film will be bankrolled by KE Gnanavel Raja’s Studio Green. Nalan Kumarasamy, who made his directorial debut with the crime comedy-drama 'Soodhu Kavvum' starring Vijay Sethupathi as a gangster has apparently completed the script work for the film. The cast and crew of the project is expected to be announced soon.
Nalan's last directorial was Kutty Story, an anthology in which he had helmed the segment of Aadal Paadal that had Vijay Sethupathi and Aditi Balan of Aruvi fame in lead roles. Apart from awaiting the release of 'Aranmanai 3',
Arya has also completed shooting for his portions as a villain in Vishal-starrer 'Enemy' directed by Anand Shankar.
