Arya to take on 100 fighters amidst 50 elephants
While the first-look of Kadamban, which was released on Monday evening, has been creating a buzz, the films team has left for Thailand to finish the climactic stunt sequence. The director of the film, Ragava, says that Arya will be taking on 100 fighters amidst 50 elephants in this scene. The fight is choreographed by stunt master Dhilip Subbarayan, and we are taking along 100 fighters from here for it.

We had shot some portions of this scene in an earlier schedule, but we had to return to India because of the rains. Now, we will be completing the remaining portions, says the director, who reveals that Arya and some of the crew members had spent 10 days training with the elephants during that time so that the animals could become accustomed to them, and they could shoot easily.
Meanwhile, the first look also led to speculation on social media that the film might be inspired by Tarzan, but the director clarifies that this is very much a local film. Since childhood, we have come to associate a man living with animals in the forest with Tarzan, but this film actually talks about a social problem that exists in our country. But I have tried to treat the film as an action adventure while conveying the message, he says.
