Arya shares a still from Pa Ranjith's Sarpatta Parambarai

Arya has posted a photo from his movie Sarpatta Parambarai, a sports drama directed by Pa Ranjith. The still also has Anupama Kumar. Produced by Ranjith's Neelam Productions and K9 Studios, the film has Arya in the lead and Dushara Vijayan as the heroine. Anupama Kumar and Santosh Pratap, too, are playing pivotal roles. While the movie was initially titled Salpetta, later it was named Sarpatta Parambarai and it revolves around a clash between two clans in North Chennai.The film will be showcasing the boxing culture that existed in the North Madras in the 80s.
The first look poster of the movie was released in December last year showing Arya in a stunning look. Ffrom Ranjith's tweet, it was understood that Arya plays Kabilan, who takes up boxing to get respect and recognition. Arya had undergone a massive transformation to play the role and he has beefed up by sweating it out in the gym and he looks fit but bulked up.

Recently, the actor's movie Teddy was released on OTT and the movie starred him along with his wife Sayyeshaa. Arya has Aranmanai-2 with Sundar C in the pipeline and he is also playing an antagonist in Vishal's Enemy directed by Anand Shankar.
Arya, a cycling enthusiast has been inspiring many youngsters to take up bicycling as a hobby and also a route to fitness.
