Arvind Swami to play a cop in Selva's film

Arvind Swami seems to be on a roll. The actor who received acclaim for his negative character in Thani Oruvan last year is signing back-to-back films. It was recently reported that he will essay the lead role in the remake of Mollywood film Bhaskar The Rascal, which will have him portraying the role enacted by Mammootty in the original. He also has Sathuranga Vettai 2 with Trisha as the female lead.Now, it is heard that the actor will join hands with veteran director Selva for a film. The duo had earlier worked together for Pudhayal. A source says that Swami will don the role of a cop in it. 'The film is likely to commence its shooting from this month itself, and he will be seen as a cop. If everything goes well, Imman will be roped in as the music director for this project. The details regarding remaining cast will be decided soon.'
