Renowned filmmaker Arunraja Kamaraj, known for his directorial ventures 'Kanaa' and 'Nenjuku Needhi,' has embarked on his latest project, a web series titled 'Label,' featuring actor Jai in a leading role. The series is slated for release on the popular streaming platform Hotstar and stars Jai and Tanya Hope in pivotal roles.

The teaser for 'Label' was unveiled recently, offering a glimpse into the narrative that delves into Article 20 of the Indian Constitution, focusing on the rights and safety of individuals accused of a crime.



The teaser unfolds with scenes depicting a violent incident following an arrest, setting the stage for a legal drama that revolves around the struggle for identity and justice. Director Arunraja Kamaraj, who has previously spoken about 'Label,' explained that the series, like his earlier works, draws inspiration from the Tamil Thirukural and its profound wisdom, emphasizing the verse: "Thondrin Pugazhodu Thondruga Akthilar Thondralin Thondramai Nanru."


'Label' emerges as a thought-provoking and revolutionary drama, exploring the journey of the protagonist as they seek to break free from the societal label imposed upon them as a criminal.

The series' music score is crafted by the talented Sam CS, and the cast includes accomplished actors such as Jai, Tanya Hope, Mahendra, Harishankar, Narayanan, Sriman, Illavarasu, and others. Arunraja Kamaraj, a multi-talented artist who is also a well-known lyricist, has lent his lyrical expertise to the songs featured in the series, enhancing its creative depth.
