Actor Arun Vijay-starrer 'Yaanai' directed by Hari is all set to hit the screens on July 1, 2022. The film, which will be a rural entertainer, with action and sentiments in equal measures has Priya Bhavani Shankar playing the female lead. The latest is that the film has been cleared by the Censor Board with an U/A certificate.
Produced by Drumstick Productions, the film also boasts a stellar cast - Prakash Raj, Radikaa Sarathkumar, Yogi Babu, Ammu Abirami, Rajesh, Thalaivasal Vijay, Bose Venkat, Cooku With Comali Rajendran Raju, Aishwarya, Jayabalan and Rama among others.
Interestingly, veteran director-musician Gangai Amaren is also a part of the action drama and will be playing an astrologer in the film. The movie has been shot in Rameswaram, Palani, Thoothukudi, Karaikudu and Nagore, with a stellar cast. The film will have music by GV Prakash, while KA Sakthivel is the cinematographer and Sakthi Venkat Raja is handling the art work.
