The film is said to be an action thriller. Music for the film is by Jakes Bejoy, cinematography is by Gokul Benoy and editing is by Sreejith Sarang. Arun Vijay had earlier shared that he was happy that the teaser was released during Darbar audio launch. He had shared on Twitter, “'We couldn’t have asked for anything more... It was a proud moment for our #MAFIA team for releasing #MafiaTeaser2 at the #DarbarAudioLaunch in front of #Rajini sir!! �� Out for you’ll soon..�� (sic).”
