Arun Vijay: 'Vanangaan' is a project that is very close to my heart

Vanangaan' is one among the popular projects of Kollywood. Directed by Bala, the film initially starred Suriya as the lead and later it was replaced by actor Arun Vijay. The much awaited film went on floors in March 2023 and the shooting for it has now been completed. The movie features Arun Vijay, Mysskin, Mamitha Baiju, Roshni Prakash and Samuthirakani in lead roles. The music for the film is composed by GV Prakash Kumar.

Actor Arun Vijay took to social media to announce that the shooting for the film has been wrapped up and revealed that the movie is one of the closest to his heart. The actor penned an emotional post and shared a photo from the final day of shooting. The actor's note read, "It's a wrap for #Vanangaan! Thank you #Bala Sir. It has been an honour and privilege to have worked with you, a truly priceless experience. Feeling the exhilaration on the completion of an extraordinary character in a project very close to my heart. Thank you to my Producer @sureshkamatchi sir and the wonderful team."



The film's teaser was launched a couple of months back and it has been well received. The makers are yet to announce the release plan of the movie and it is expected to be out in theatres this year as the post-production process is underway.
