Arun Vijay delivered the action thriller 'Mission: Chapter 1', which is directed by AL Vijay, and the film was released in theatres for Pongal 2024. As the film earned positive reviews from the audience, Arun Vijay and his 'Mission' team have been visiting theatres across locations in Tamil Nadu. Arun Vijay has gone on to Madurai to visit theatres in several locations in the city. Arun Vijay didn't miss a visit to the famous Meenakshi Amman temple in Madurai, and he was accompanied by 'Mission' director AL Vijay. Arun Vijay has shared a picture taken with AL Vijay at the Madurai Meenakshi Amman temple and captioned it as "Thanked and took blessings at Madurai Meenakshi Amman temple!!".
Ahead of the temple visit, Arun Vijay observed the Jallikattu event at Alanganallur, Madurai, and he was spotted enjoying the ancient Tamil sport along with director AL Vijay and Udhayanidhi Stalin. Arun Vijay has also thanked fans for their response to the film, and he feels happy to see the overwhelming response to the action thriller.
Directed by AL Vijay, 'Mission: Chapter 1' features Arun Vijay, Nimisha Sajayan, Amy Jackson, and Baby Iyal in the main roles, and the film set in a London backdrop is about a prisoner's mission to protect the terrorist attack against India. GV Prakash Kumar scored the music, and it's a joyful Pongal for the composer; he delivered two successful films ('Mission: Chapter 1' and 'Captain Miller').
