Arun Vaidyanathan’s sweet gesture towards short filmmakers

The last few days have been super hectic, and productive, for Arun Vaidyanathan. The director has been reviewing short films – mentioning what he liked about them and what could have been better – to encourage aspiring filmmakers.
The director had written on his social media handle on Monday, “Planning to watch 10 short films which are under 10 minutes and write a review, my inputs to the filmmaker - Knowledge sharing exercise.I invite Prasanna Rs, Barath Neelakantan Kunal Rajan to do the same. Please tag ur filmmaker friends. #Sendtheladderdown (sic).”
As soon as the filmmaker posted this, he seems to have received several requests. “So many short.films....Will do as much as I can. Patience is the key,” he wrote.
Apart from having reviewed over five shorts, the Nibunan director had collaborated with Rajhesh Vaidhya in late April to come up with a short film, Redemption. He has also been appearing on various web shows as well.
