, who made his debut with the critically acclaimed ‘Rocky’ in 2021, will be collaborating with National award winner
Dhanush, for an upcoming film tentatively titled ‘Captain
Miller
’.
In a recent interview with the media, director Arun Matheswaran revealed that the film with Dhanush is not about the real-life Captain Miller who was an LTTE (Sri Lankan Tamil Rebel group) leader. He reportedly stated that the upcoming film is moulded on a massive budget to cater to a larger audience. The director confidently stated that the film will not have any item songs in the film.
In the interview, Arun Matheswaran reportedly revealed that the film will have generic humour and will have his style of dark humour in it. He added that the film will be an action-adventure and will be very different from his previous two films. The Dhanush – Arun Matheswaran film is currently in pre-production and will go on grounds this year after Dhanush completes shooting for ‘
Vaathi
’.
Meanwhile, Arun Matheswaran’s second film ‘Saani Kaayidham’ featuring
Keerthy Suresh and
Selvaraghavan is scheduled to release in May on OTT platforms.
