Actor Arulnithi has recently wrapped up shooting for his upcoming movie, Kazuvethi Moorkkan, directed by Sy Gowthamaraj of Raatchasi fame. Touted to be an intense action drama, the film features Dushara as the female lead. Santhosh Pratap plays the antagonist.
Shot extensively in Rameshwaram, Ramanathapuram, Sivagangai, and Virudhunagar, the movie will be a visual treat, says Gowthamaraj. “As the title suggests, the film will touch upon the cruel mode of punishment called Kazhumaram. The film is set against the backdrop of a village and Arulnithi plays the protagonist who falls in love with Dushara, a bank employee.
However, the entry of Santhosh’s character creates a turning point in the story, forming the crux of the movie,” reveals the director.
Saya Devi plays Santhosh Pratap’s pair in the film. The cast includes Munishkanth, Raja Simman, Yaar Kannan, Sarath Lohithaswa, and a few others. D Imman will compose music for the film.
