Arjun Das & Anna Ben to star as married couple in family drama

Arjun Das and Anna Ben are playing a married couple in debutant director Harish Durairaj’s untitled film. Harish, who previously worked as Karthick Naren’s first AD, emphasises that his film will be a family entertainer.

“It’s a proper family entertainer that’s content-oriented. Almost 70 per cent of the shoot is done. The film is set in Chennai, Mangaluru and Mumbai,” shares Harish. Talking about his cast, he says, “Arjun was my first choice, as I felt he would be the right fit. Anna will be dubbing for her character.”

Yogi Babu and Vadivukkarasi will be essaying the roles of Anna’s brother and mother, respectively. “Yogi Babu’s character will be seen throughout the film,” he adds. The Greatest Of All Time fame child artiste Akhilan will be seen as the lead couple’s son.

Harish, who has previously worked as an executive producer in Good Night , Lover , Tourist Family and Once More , reflects on his journey and adds, “I’ve been in this field for nearly 10 years. I was also the chief co-director of Tourist Family .”

The film’s crew comprises composer Sean Roldan and DOP Aravind Viswanathan. “Sean Roldan is chill. I’ve a good rapport with him and he has been a big support for the film,” says Harish.
