Arivazhagan chooses popular novel to read during lockdown

Director Arivazhagan was working on his untitled film with Arun Vijay before the lockdown was announced. The crew completed two schedules before coming back to Chennai owing to the corona pandemic. They wrapped up a schedule in Delhi for a few days, which had some crucial portions, including an action sequence. The movie has Regina Cassandra playing the female lead and B Rajasekar cranking camera.Looks like Arivazhagan is relishing the lockdown period indulging in things which he loves the most. He took to Twitter to say that he has been reading Vela Ramamoorthy’s popular book, Kuttra Parambarai. According to him, it is books that shaped him more than films.
Arivazhagan posted, “What I’m now, coz I hope Books shaped up me more than Movies. In the lock down period too, despite Script Writing and Watching Movies , Books doing its major part :) #StayHomeStaySafe.”
The last project of his, Kutram 23, which had him teaming up with Arun Vijay, was released more than three years ago. Tentatively titled #AV31, the current project has Sam CS composing music and Stunner Sam helming action scenes.
