Silambarasan TR-starrer with
Vetri Maaran’s direction is currently progressing in Chennai at full throttle. Well, there’s a reason for many things. The film has already been discussed in big circles about the production, topic, and caliber of people associated with it. Now that its second schedule has begun, it has made a clear move to propel itself forward.
'Arasan' prepares for multiple city locations
The news was announced by Kalaipulu S Thanu during a recent public event, where it was disclosed that the shooting is currently happening, and Silambarasan has been punctual since the beginning. A report from IANS has repeated the same information and claimed that the actor has been actively involved. It is expected that the Chennai part of the project will be filmed in numerous spots across the city, while the production crew intends to intensify the shoot starting January 20. According to the reports, the priority is on the speed of the process and catching up with the backlog.
A key phase in shooting
The first schedule of 'Arasan' was completed on December 21 in Kovilpatti, where significant portions of the film were filmed. Aurangazeb Productions had informed us at the time that the next schedule would be in early January, and that is what is happening now. After the outstation schedule, it’s time for a big and bold schedule in the big city, considering the huge set of scenes that need to be captured here. The slow and steady momentum has created a wave of excitement among the audience, who were eagerly waiting for an update about their much-loved film.
Vijay Sethupathi’s entry heightens excitement
Interest levels around 'Arasan' are at an all-time high due to several factors. The film marks the first-time association of stars Silambarasan and National Award-winning director Vetri Maaran, and that has generated all-round buzz in the industry. There’s also the fact that National Award-winning actor Vijay Sethupathi makes a special appearance in this film, hence raising expectations. The first promo, revealed earlier, had also created quite a stir with its unconventional sources of narration, particularly the presence of the director Nelson and the flashes of a story based on true events. With the second schedule in full swing, 'Arasan' is indeed back on track, and we can't wait for the raw and explosive content that the audiences are about to witness.
