The 75th Cannes Film Festival kicks off from 17th this month in France. The Central Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has released the list of Indian actors and actresses who will be participating in the event. AR Rahman and
Nayanthara are on the list of cinema stars to represent India at the Cannes Film Festival. Union Minister Anurag Thakur is said to be in charge of the event.

Pooja Hegde are a few names from the South who will make a red-carpet appearance at the Cannes Film Festival. Apart from them, Hindi actors
Akshay Kumar, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, and Shekhar Kapoor will also be given a red-carpet welcome at the Cannes Film Festival.
The much-awaited film 'Rocketry: The Namby Effect', which marks actor Madhavan's directorial debut, and features him in the lead role, will be screened at the Cannes Film Festival on May 19. So, Madhavan will also be heading to France for the global film festival.
Kamal Haasan's 'Vikram' trailer will also be launched at the Cannes Film Festival on May 18th. So,
Kamal Haasan and a few others from the team are also expected to participate in the prestigious film festival.
