The last time Appukutty was in the headlines was when Ajith clicked his photographs, which showcased the former in a never-before-seen avatar. Appukutty aka Sivabalan (named by Ajith) who shared screen space with Ajith in Siruthai Siva���s Veeram and Vedalam, will now be seen along with his favourite star for the third time, once again, a Siva-directed film titled AK57.
Appukutty says, ���Yes. I���m happy to be on the board. I���m yet to be briefed on the character I play, but it looks like I have a meaty role. The crew, which is currently shooting abroad, will be back in 10 days, after which I���ll have a fair idea of my role. For now, I���m told that I have portions which will be shot in the US, which will be in a month���s time.���
