Anu Emmanuel roped in to Dhanush's second directorial

After his successful directorial debut with 'Pa Paandi', actor Dhanush's second film as a director officially went on the floors recently. The project, tentatively titled 'DD 2' had Dhanush playing the lead role with Telugu superstar Nagarjuna and actress Aditi Rao Hydari playing an pivotal role in the film. The latest buzz is that Anu Emmanuel of 'Thupparivaalan' fame, has been roped in to do an important role in this film.


Anu Emmanuel will join the shoot of this film from October. This will be her second film in Tamil after Thupparivaalan. Produced by Sri Thenandal Films and touted to be a Tamil-Telugu bulingual, this yet untitled project of Dhanush has music by Sean Roldan with Om Prakash and Prasanna GK handling the cinematography and editing respectively.


Reported to be a period flick, the fil also has Sarathkumar, SJ Suryah and Srikanth in prominent roles.
