Anna Ben on teaming up with P. S. Vinothraj for ‘Kottukkaali’: 'Working with you was a dream'

Soori and Anna Ben starrer ‘Kottukkaali’ has finally hit the theatres on Friday, August 23. The film directed by P. S. Vinothraj is receiving a great response from the theatres, and actress Anna Ben has now spoken about how she transformed into Meena.

In a note shared on Friday morning on Instagram, Anna Ben stated that working with P. S. Vinothraj was indeed a dream come true for her. Calling ‘Kottukkali’ a special film, Anna Ben spoke about how the director gave her the space to explore the characters.

“Eternally grateful to God for bringing me this project and so much love and thanks to @psvinothraj for seeing Meena in me. Working with you was a dream, you gave me the space to explore and be vulnerable and patiently travelled with me as I transformed into Meena. You created such a safe environment for your film to bloom into what it is today and I believe that is the reason even nature conspired to help us in making Kottukkaali,” she said.

Speaking about her co-star Soori, she added, “And dear @soorimuthuchamy you have transformed yet again into a character that is going to be a golden feather in your career and I’m so glad I could witness it first-hand. Meena drew so much energy from Pandi and his rage. Thank you for being one of the best co-actors I could have.”
