Anjali goes missing!

A day after actress Anjali claimed that she���s fearing for her life and claimed harassment by her step-mom, Bharathi Devi, and director Mu Kalanjiyam, the actress failed to turn up for the shoot of her Telugu film in Bangalore, prompting rumours that she has gone into hiding.
Ever since her explosive revelations on Monday, Anjali had gone incommunicado. She had also gone ���missing��� from the hotel where she was staying in.She did not report to the shoot of her Telugu film with Venkatesh and her brother, Ravi Shankar, has lodged a case with the Hyderabad police to help trace her whereabouts.
Meanwhile, on Tuesday, director Kalanjiyam filed a complaint with the Chennai police commissioner claiming that the actress��� statements were false. In the statement, the director also states that Anjali had defamed his public image with her false accusations and requested the police to take action against her.
Speaking to TOI, the director said, ���The commissioner has promised me that he will order a proper enquiry. I���m also exploring the possibility of filing a case against Anjali in the Madras High Court.���
���I haven���t threatened or hurt Anjali. Till March 26, she was shooting with my unit and did not show any indications of unhappiness,��� he said and added that he suspects the actress��� charges might be politically motivated.
